#FairFlightPaths for Lindsay and Western Sydney

The Albanese Labor Government’s proposed flight paths for Western Sydney International Airport has targeted our Lindsay community and made us the most heavily impacted.

We are now set to have hundreds of low-flying planes across the majority of our suburbs, with major changes in flight path design from the original EIS in 2016.

Day and night, our homes will face loud noise from both arrivals and departures under the proposed flight plans.

The Albanese Labor Government wants us to have:

  • More than 75 flights above Penrith’s High Street and the Nepean River.
  • Over 100 flights across 24 hours over Cambridge Park, St Marys, and Llandilo.
  • Twin Creeks residents to have flights as low as 750 feet with noise exceeding 70 decibels, louder than standing next to a washing machine.
  • At night, the hardest hit suburbs with decibel levels at or over 60 include Twin Creeks, St Marys, Castlereagh, Cranebrook, Llandilo, Werrington, Emu Plains, Claremont Meadows, and Luddenham.

We are not going to stand by and let this happen.

I support the airport for all the opportunities it will bring. But the flight paths need to be fairer and more balanced for our community. I welcome the economic benefits, but demand respect for local residents.

Join the fight to tell the Albanese Labor Government to make flight paths far for Lindsay and Western Sydney by signing the petition.

Your signature empowers our collective voice, and can help shape a better future for our community.

I am with our community all the way, and if the Albanese Government doesn’t listen, we are not going to be going down quietly.
